Join us at Change X Unzipped's highly anticipated annual global health conference!

Change X Unzipped is a Victorian university collaboration between Monash University, the University of Melbourne and Deakin University. Every year, students from these universities come together to host an annual two-day global health conference.

This year, our focus will be on the environmental determinants that impact human health, under the theme NExUS - where we discuss the nexus between the natural environment & urban social environment and its interplay with human health.

Delegates will be given the opportunity to explore these themes across the two days through engaging presentations, workshops and panel discussions.

  • Day 1's theme is "UNDER THE WEATHER: NEXUS BETWEEN THE CLIMATE CRISIS AND POOR HEALTH"

    • Day 1 will shed light on the interaction between the natural environment and human health, with a major focus on the climate crisis (NExUS).

  • Day 2's theme is "BUILDING BRIDGES: NEXUS BETWEEN THE BUILT AND SOCIAL ECOSYSTEMS AND HEALTH"

    • Day 2 will explore the interfaces between the built environment, technology, social constructs and population health (NExUS).

Day 1 will conclude with a social night, complete with free drink cards, trivia, prizes and plenty of opportunity to meet and chat with your fellow delegates.

We would like to invite all of you to this year’s surgical conference!

The Australasian Students’ Surgical Conference (ASSC) aims to bring together university students and junior health professionals from around Australasia for three days of surgical education and entertainment. In collaboration with Australasian Students’ Surgical Association, ASSC seeks to promote surgical education through skills workshops, keynote speakers and research.

Historically reserved for medical students, we are this year extending the online conference tickets to pre-medical or biomedical students across Australasia. If you are interested in pursuing a career in surgery, medicine or just want a taste of what life is like as a medical student or doctor then this is for you. You will also have the opportunity to connect with surgeons and medical students to help propel your future career.

Delegates will be able to experience talks from plenary speakers who are top surgeons in their field, academic breakout sessions, surgical workshops, research competitions, social events, and more! The event will run online from the 5th to the 7th of May (Friday evening until Sunday afternoon).

Any research that you may be doing or have completed can be entered through our online submission and you could be in the running to win automatic publication!

Purchase online tickets here for $80: https://assc2023online.getqpay.com/
